The standard model number may not be sufficient to identify which type of bit is used with a specific driver. Standard bit sizes, as measured across the flats of the hex, vary from 7/8" to 1-1/4". When ordering it is necessary to specify the "hex" size as well as the type of rod since a 5/8" galvanized rod is not the same size as a 5/8" copper rod. Electric hammers often may use the same bits as hydraulics. The new design bits for electric hammers are also available. Some bits have round shanks.
